Die Casting Process

Die-casting is a manufacturing process that involves injecting molten metal with low melting points such as zinc and aluminum into steel molds. 

Mold Preparation

The mold is cleaned and coated with a release agent to prevent sticking.

Making the Gating System

The gating system is the network of channels that allows the molten metal to flow into the mold cavity. It consists of a sprue, runner, gate, overflow and vent.

Injection of Molten Metal

Removing the Castings
